J. (Jordan) Asher Peter – Interviewed by Jean Yothers on March 5, 1975. Mr. Peter was a local real estate businessman who, along with other civic leaders, founded Woodlawn Memorial Park. He was the president of the park for many years. Born June 30, 1893, in “Saint Joe,” Asher moved to Orlando for his health and to earn a living.
