Bess Coward

Bess Coward – Bud Coward’s widow was interviewed with her brothers (Alonzo and Clarence Woods) on May 18, 1975 by Frank Manuel for the Friends of the Orlando Public Library’s Oral History Committee.  We are grateful for the Orange County Regional History Center‘s making this recording available for Orlando Memory.

Bud Coward was a long time land owner and cattle rancher in East Orange County.  Bess Woods Coward was born and raised in Christmas, Florida.
