Henry William Land

Henry W. Land served the central Florida area as a successful businessman, county commissioner, WWII veteran, Florida state representative, president of the Orange County Farm Bureau, director of the Plymouth Citrus Growers Association, director of the State Bank of Apopka and the Bank of Central Florida, president of the Central Florida Fair, and founder of the Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival.

This interview was conducted on May 30, 1994 by James R. Spence for the Friends of the Orlando Public Library’s Oral History Program. We are grateful to the Orange County Regional History Center for making this recording available for Orlando Memory.
