MR.C. COURTLAND SMITH, SR.  Funeral services for Mr. C. Courtland Smith Sr., 50, 1639 Pinewood Dr., who died Saturday, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. F. Vernon Quigley, officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Smith was a native of Norfolk, Va., and came to Orlando in 1937 from Ashville, N.C. He was a Navy Veteran of W. W. II employed at Howard Fertilizer, since coming here and was a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Doris L. Smith; three sons, C. Courtland Smith, Jr., David Mark Smith, Robert Daniel Smith, Orlando; mother, Mrs. Helen Smith, Kensington, Md.; and two sisters, Mrs. Alfred T. Lucas, Austin, Tex., and Mrs. Bill Harris, Miami…

Carlisle Courtland Smith was born on August 27, 1918 and died on December 14, 1968. He is buried in Woodland Memorial Park, Orlando, Florida. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.
