Orlando Strong Mosaic

In the wake of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy on June 12, 2016, people from around the country showed their support for our community in a myriad of ways.

This amazing mosaic was created at the American Library Association Conference held in Orlando June 24-27, 2016. Over 3000 participants contributed pictures representing themselves, their libraries and their community to show solidarity with our grieving community.

Gale, a part of Cengage Learning, donated the finished artwork to the Orange County Library System to show their support for the community.

The massive mosaic is on permanent display on the 3rd floor of the Orlando Public Library between the Bookstore and Marketing and Public Relations Office.
