Sampling of original photographs and documents found in the Orange County Library System Genealogy collection of the Brouard Family. There are two folders full of documentation including copies of deeds, information on cemeteries, etc. Many of the photos have dates and names noted on the reverse in a very shaky hand that appears to have been added later. The type of photos run the gamut from tin types to Polaroids.
Three photos were apparently sent to Mr. John Brouard in Orlando in 1975 from Mr. and Mrs. John G. Kinsey of Laguna Hills, CA. These are of Emma Julia Mills wife of William Brouard circa 1890, William Bartram Brouard circa 1910 and a photograph of Dough Boys striking a pose at Ft. Wright, NY 1914. Some of the photos appear to be from Narrowsburg, New York.
Documents in the Hildebrandt Family file identify Emily Brouard as the daughter of George Hildebrandt and Cecelia O’Reilly, so the photos may also include individuals from the Hildebrandt family.
