Kathy Beyers was born and raised in the city of Winter Garden. She worked for Disney before moving to Los Angeles, CA for work in the film industry. She recalls growing up in Winter Garden and working in Disney during the early years, as well as all the changes the city has undergone. She speaks of going shopping downtown Orlando at the Sears store and when it closed and moved to Fashion Square; going to the movie theater, McCrory’s for lunch.
