Wayne A. Cooper, a long time “real estate man” in Orlando was interviewed by Frank Manual on January 30, 1978. We are grateful for the Orange County Regional History Center‘s making this recording available for Orlando Memory.
Mr. Cooper came to Orlando from Illinois when he was 7 years old in 1911. The family had moved to Tampa, Florida for his mother’s health and the Adventist doctor treating her sent her to the Florida Sanitarium (now Florida Hospital) near Orlando.
