My 17th birthday at Magic Kingdom in Cinderella’s Castle
My parents took me to the Magic Kingdom with some of my closest friends for my 17th birthday. After a long day of fun and memories, my birthday adventure culminated in a dinner inside Cinderella’s Castle at Cinderella’s Royal Table. I got to sit in a throne like a real princess and have pictures with Cinderella herself. Dinner was one of the nicest, most beautiful meals I think I have ever eaten. The best part was that we had a table right out next to the stained glass windows up near the top of the castle. When Disney had its nightly fireworks show, we had front row, eye level seats to one of the most mesmerizing fireworks displays I have ever seen. I’m older now, but I will never forget how magical that was and how Disney is such a huge part of the Orlandoan experience.
I’ve been an annual passholder now for some time, and the nightly fireworks shows still bring tears to my eyes. The fireworks are shot low to the ground, to make them an eye popping size. They are HUGE! I’m so proud to live in Orlando and to know that my children will grow up here near the magic is something I look forward to in the years to come.
