The facade of the original Jones High School building built in 1921 can be seen in the far right of the photo. In 1952 the building was converted to Callahan Elementary School, named after Dr. J.B. Callahan. The building was redesigned, to create the Callahan Neighborhood Center in 1987. The City of Orlando kept the original building colonial style architecture and arched front facade seen in the below photo.
