Florida Leaders Ron Blocker and Tom Tart at the Library

Florida leaders Tom Tart and Ron Blocker celebrate Library Snapshot Day 2014 at the Orlando Public Library.

Thomas Tart, is the retired vice president of the Orlando Utilities Commission and was selected for the University of Florida’s Lifetime Achievement Award. He is pictured researching travel in Hawaii.

Ronald Blocker, is the retired Orange County Public School Superintendent and Florida School Superintendent of the Year for 2011. Mr. Blocker is  reading Life upon these shores: looking at African American history, 1513-2008  by Henry Louis Gates.

These esteemed leaders and library card holders graciously agreed to take a break from their research  to be photographed for Library Snapshot Day 2014. The photo was taken on the fourth floor of the Orlando Public Library, January 22, 2014.
