On June 12, 2016 a shooting occurred at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando that resulted in the tragic loss of 49 lives. The Orlando community responded to this tragedy by uniting in displays of love and support for the victims through out the city.
Mourners and memorial items in front of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. In the days and weeks following the Pulse nightclub shooting the temporary memorial in front of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts continued to grow.
