Hattabel Hyer presents another installment of the Pioneer Party Line.
Part One is an interview with Norma Gettier. Ms Gettier was one of the founding members of Orlando’s first Christian Science Church. Ms Gettier speaks of her childhood and formative years, growing up in the Methodist Church and subsequent commitment to the small but growing group of disciples of Mary Baker Eddy’s new principles.
Part Two is Ms Hyer’s recollections of persons and events that Norma Gettier would remember.
The interview was conducted on June 1, 1972 by Hatabel Hyer. We are grateful for the Orange County Regional History Center‘s making this recording available for Orlando Memory.
