Davis Park Motel 1960s

The Davis Park Motel was located at 221 East Colonial Drive for decades. It was family owned and operated.

The Davis Park Motel was later sold and became the Knights Inn.  The motel is now home to the Faith Arts Village Orlando or FAVO.  Faith Arts Village Orlando is a ministry of Park Lake Presbyterian Church that provides a place where the faith community and local artists can work together to share their gifts of inspiration, beauty, and spiritual expression to promote peace, understanding, and well-being in the larger community. 

Zebra Coalition

It was announced in June 2021, that the Zebra Coalition will convert part of the old Davis Park Motel into housing and support services for LGBTQ young people in the Orlando area.

An Act of Faith – Faith Arts Village

“Many long-time Central Floridians remember the old Davis Park Motel, a family-owned relic of the 1950s at the corner of East Colonial Drive and Highland Avenue in Orlando. Today the two-acre tract encompasses a bustling campus of creatives called Faith Arts Village (FAVO).” Orlando Arts, July/August 2022.
