The College Park Neighborhood Association’s 16th Annual Homes Tour: Mediterranean Revivals, 2006

Mediterranean Revival is an eclectic style using Spanish, Italian Renaissance and Moorish architectural elements. In Florida, the style’s popularity soared in the 1920’s; it remained a pervasive influence until World War II. It was used for a variety of building types, especially houses of all sizes. Now it’s again a favored residential style. The current tour features a few of many historic examples in College Park.
