Celebrating 20 Years at the Herndon Branch

Herndon Branch Library, located near the heart of downtown, celebrated it’s 20th Anniversary on November 3, 2018. The celebration included a full day of events that ranged from music, Herndon trivia, performances, arts & crafts, prize giveaways, a trip down memory lane, cake and more!

The Herndon Branch originally opened its doors to the public on November 23, 1998.  It is a leased facility in the Colonial Promenade shopping center on East Colonial Drive. Previous occupants in the building were Barnes and Noble book store and T.J. Maxx. Read more about the first year of the Herndon Branch.
